What is the DTC?

DTC care robot 프로젝트는 치매환자의 간병 보조 및 모니터링과 인지 재활 지원 기능을 토대로 환자에게 라이프 케어 서비스를 제공 하는 프로젝트입니다. 고령자 친화형 로봇과 로봇-환자 간 상호작용을 위한 로봇 지식, 간병 보조 및 환자 모니터링, 로봇+ICT를 이용한 인지 재활 기술을 제시합니다.
The project provides life care services for patients with dementia care assistant, monitoring, and cognitive rehabilitation support functions. Robot knowledge, care assistant and patient monitoring for human-robot interaction with elderly person-friendly robot, and cognitive rehabilitation technology using robot and ICT are presented.

서로 다른 치매 증상을 가진 치매 환자들을 돌보는 간병인과 가족 구성워을 위한 적응형 가이드라인을 제공하도록 설계된 지식 기반 시스템을 제안함으로써 복지시설이나 가정에서 향상된 치매 케어 지식을 제안합니다. 제안 된 시스템은 복지시설에서 사용하는 평가 지표와 메뉴얼을 포함합니다. 또한, 일생 중에 발생할 수 있는 가정 환경과 사회적 관계 및 다양한 환자의 상황에 대한 지식을 포함합니다.
we propose a knowledge base system that is designed to adaptively provide guidelines for caring person with dementia (PwD) with different dementia symptoms, thereby contributing improved care conditions to caregivers and family members at either care facility or home. Proposed system contains diverse knowledge for caring PwD based on general dementia care knowledge and behavioral and psychophysical assessment manual used in dementia care facility in Korea. Also, knowledge on the home environment, social relations and various patient’s situations that can happen during daily life are included.

Java-Agent(UoS)기반 인간 로봇 상호 작용을 위한 로봇의 기억 및 지식구조 모델링 및 프레임워크
이 모델은 Short-Term Memory(STM) and Long-Term Memory(LTM) 기반으로 이것들을 관리하고 함축 하는 일련의 Framework(구조 및 동작기)를 포함한다. 장/단기 기억은 STM-Instant Memory, LTM-Episodic Memory 그리고 LTM-Semantic Memory 으로 구성되며 Instant, Episodic, Semantic 순으로 함축된다. 사람의 과거 사건은 로봇의 센서를 통해서 데이터베이스에 저장되며, 누적된 메모리들을 이용하여 패턴 분석을 통하여 사람에게 필요한 맞춤형 지식들을 생성한다.
A framework of memory and knowledge structure of Robot for Human-Robot Interaction based on Java-Agent (UoS)
This Model includes a set of Frameworks (Structures and Operators) that manage memories based on Short-Term Memory (STM) and Long-Term Memory (LTM). The short / long-term memory consists of STM-Instant Memory, LTM-Episodic Memory and LTM-Semantic Memory. The past events of a person are stored in the database through the sensor of the robot, and accumulate memories are used to generate customized knowledge necessary for the person through pattern analysis.
